AML screening

Screening is something we build, not something we resell

Our own risk engine runs on licensed blockchain analytics data, which is why the thresholds are yours to set rather than a vendor default. A risk score on every address in the flow, computed before a transaction is accepted or released.

On every transaction

Scored before the funds move

Scoring looks at the exposure behind an address: what it has interacted with, how funds reached it, and how far it sits from known high-risk sources.

Thresholds are yours to set. A score above the line can be held for review, escalated to a named approver, or rejected outright, and the choice is configured per flow rather than argued case by case. The same pass also checks the address and its counterparty against sanctions and watchlist data, so a screening result and a sanctions result are never two separate steps that can quietly disagree.

We run our own risk engine on top of licensed blockchain analytics data.

Why banks and partners accept our screening

A risk score is only useful if someone else can trust how it was produced. Every score on this page traces back to the same inputs, the same thresholds and the same audit trail, so when a bank or a partner asks how a decision was made, the answer is a record, not a recollection.

That consistency holds regardless of who is on shift or how busy the queue is. The same address produces the same outcome every time, and the exceptions that do need a person are routed to one, not left to whoever happens to be online.

Every transaction scored

Incoming and outgoing addresses are scored before funds move, not sampled after the fact.

Thresholds you control

Risk appetite is agreed with you in writing and applied by the system the same way every time.

Sanctions checked in the same pass

A screening result and a sanctions result are never two separate steps that can quietly disagree.

A record, not a recollection

What was checked, what was decided and who decided it are stored together, ready to hand to a bank or a partner.

The path a transaction takes

Screening is the first of four checkpoints

  1. 01

    Address scored

Incoming payments on arrival, outgoing payouts before release.

  2. 02

    Counterparty on file

Ownership, structure and business model reviewed before the first transaction.

  3. 03

    Behaviour watched

Activity compared against the profile agreed when the account opened.

  4. 04 Always on

    Decision recorded

What was checked, what was decided, and who decided it, stored together.

Questions we get about screening

Do you check against sanctions lists as well?

Yes. Sanctions and watchlist matching runs in the same pass as the risk score, at onboarding and again whenever the lists change, so a counterparty is not only checked once on the day it signed. The exact list of programmes covered is confirmed per contract.

What happens when an address fails the score?

Depending on the threshold you set, it is either held for review, escalated to a named approver, or rejected outright. Every one of those outcomes is recorded with the score and the reasoning behind it, so nothing is decided and then forgotten.

How is the risk score calculated?

It weighs what an address has interacted with, how funds reached it, and how far it sits from known high-risk sources, run on our own risk engine built on top of licensed blockchain analytics data. The exact weighting is proprietary, but the inputs behind any single score can be shown to you on request.

Is screening a one-time check or an ongoing one?

Both. Every transaction is scored on arrival or before release, and counterparties are reviewed again periodically rather than only once at onboarding, the rest of that sequence is the four checkpoints above.

Can thresholds differ across products or customer segments?

Yes. Thresholds are configured per flow, so a lower-risk product line does not carry the same friction as a higher-risk one, and each is agreed with you in writing before go-live.
